Optimize Your 2018: Realistic Sustainable Home Goals

We’re poised to rip the first month’s page from the 2018 calendar. Resolutions have lost their luster, and the multitudes are losing interest in them. Many of us haven’t set all our goals for the year yet. If you’re someone who has taken a bit longer to craft goals, allow me to reassure you. Extra time for careful consideration up front is, in fact, a good thing.
Previous posts in our series touched upon health topics or professional goals. Today’s video hits home–goals for our home life, to be exact. Creating an optimal life in our nesting space deserves thoughtful planning. Just as we’d set SMART goals for professional or health objectives, we need to be specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, and time-specific in plotting our best life at home.
Home is the most appropriate place to keep our life purpose in perspective, yet often becomes the place we think least about our WHY. Seek accountability and success-celebrations for achievements regarding your personal space as you would for other goals. Set one objective at a time, with a series of steps toward each goal. Small bites allow for better digestion, after all.
Prioritize home goals and optimize the following:

  • Organization & Household Maintenance
  • Parenting
  • Budgeting

What are your current objectives to improve life at home? Share your goals with us. In addition to joining our community of support, those who comment on this series will be entered to win a $10 Amazon card.

Be Encouraged,

Tina
